Heineken says allows Russian business to launch local brands
PARIS, Mar 7 (PRIME) -- Dutch beer producer Heineken has allowed the Russian division to launch local products to prevent bankruptcy ahead of the sale of the business, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Newspaper Follow the Money accused the company of continuing activities in Russia by launching new products.
According to the statement, consent of the international team was required for the launch of international brands, while the Russian brand launches were at discretion of the local management team.
